I didn’t realize until today that my last post was way back on January 30th. My oh my..where does the time go?
Things are going well….we are doing fine..just busy with life! This time of the year always finds us in the thick of Andrew’s basketball schedule and we waffle from wanting the season to be over, to realizing after this season…he only has one more left. So, rather than wishing the games away….I’m choosing to be happy that we still have games to attend!
Ashley is doing great as well. She just secured a great nanny gig…so now she’s working between two nanny jobs, and her new job…comes with a vehicle! And for that, we are VERY thankful! She job sharing one of the nanny jobs with a friend so she no longer is working 15-18 hours days like she did last year. During this time Ash will be seeking the Lord regarding what big adventure he has next for her….and knowing her heart…I’m sure it will be big.
I’m also excited about an event our church will be hosting this coming Saturday night called: “Praise and Coffee”. My friend Sue from “Praise and Coffee” hosts this event and I’ve loved her idea from the first time I heard about it. (for more details…go here!)
I’m doing our “Praise and Coffee” a little different than Sue, as we are hosting this event ONLY for our church ladies. I thought it would be a good idea to start out this way…and then expand, opening it up to others in our area.
So far, 17 ladies have RSVP’d….and I KNOW, God has something big in store for us.
In a recent post, I shared how so often we find ourselves pouring into the hearts and lives of others, and then we find ourselves NOT being poured into! I believe that God longs for us to be more balanced in this area and I’m so excited to be sharing a message God has put on my heart regarding: Timothy…..Barnabas……and Paul.
Timothy that we pour into!
Barnabas that we walk beside!
and Paul that pours into us!
God truly longs for his church…to be the REAL church. Caring…nurturing…mentoring…and discipling one another; and I believe as we do these things…we will be well balanced believers.
Praying you each have a BLESSED day in him.
Kim~
